Triton Marine

A boatyard built on the harbor of Patmos

About Triton Marine

A small, senior crew running a working boatyard on the harbor of Patmos — the same hands that built half the local fleet.

Triton Marine is a family-run boatyard in Skala, on the Greek island of Patmos. We haul, store, repair, and build boats — for the local fleet, for visiting yachts, and for owners who've trusted us with their vessels for years.

Our team is small and senior: shipwrights, engine technicians, and marine electricians who grew up around the harbor. We know the waters, the weather, and the quirks of every type of boat that calls the Dodecanese home.

We operate year-round. Summer is launches, emergency repairs, and small-job turnarounds; winter is haul-outs, full refits, and custom builds. Whatever season you find us in, the goal is the same: get your boat back in the water, safe and running right.

The crew

Twelve people. Three trades. One yard.

Shipwrights

Wood, fiberglass, composite. The builders, the fixers, the people who shape a hull.

Engine technicians

Inboard, outboard, diesel, petrol. Diagnosis to overhaul, no brand we won't open up.

Marine electricians

Nav, comms, charging, batteries. Old systems, new systems, and everything that arrives wired wrong.

Yard hands

Haul-out, launch, transport. The people who make sure your boat moves safely on land.

A year in the yard

Four seasons, one rhythm — every boat has a place in it.

  1. 01

    Spring

    Apr – May

Launches. Antifoul, polish, rig check, sea trial. The yard empties one boat at a time.

  2. 02

    Summer

    Jun – Sep

Service & emergency repairs for the visiting fleet. Same-day diagnosis whenever the weather lets us.

  3. 03

    Autumn

    Oct – Nov

Haul-outs. Pressure-wash, cradle fit, walk-through report. The yard fills back up.

  4. 04

    Winter

    Dec – Mar

Refits, rebuilds, custom construction. The slow work — the work the rest of the year doesn't allow.

How we work

Honest scope. Fair price. Boat back in the water.

Three rules we keep, even when they cost us a job. They are the reason owners come back, and the reason we still have a yard.

  • Quote before we start

Written scope, fixed price, before the first tool comes out.

  • Tell you what we find

Surprises in the bilge are rare; surprises on the invoice are forbidden.

  • Twelve-month warranty

On every job we do in-house. Written. Boring. Real.
